I love her. . . now, why can't I tell her?

I see you standing there with that half-smile on your face and I can't help, but wonder what your thinking about . . . I would hope it's me that leaves you so mesmorized and left speechless, but that's just a wish so far away. I lie awake at night and wonder what it be like if we were together. . . and now we've become such great freinds. I can't help, but dream about you and wish to hold your hand; the one that remains empty as you walk away. . .

. . .The way you stare off into the distance leaves me questioning; what should I do . . . should I ask or just pretend not to notice? What could I possibly do to get closer to you; to know what it is that truly makes you happy and your heart leap with joy? So long now I've watched you from a far, and when I seemed so close that I could hear your words whispered into my ear, I was unable to say the right words, and that momment was lost forever. . .

It's just another heartache; wondering when I'll get the chance to express my true feelings . . . when I'll be able to kiss those lips . . . when I'll be able to say, I love you!
