A delicate flower in beauty and awe, But independent and strong in herself Her pedals so many are wondrous in color And brilliantly prosper with passion So carefully she brightens the light of each day The clouds cannot challenge her power She comforts the lonely, strengthens the weak And shows compassion to all living things She’s everything anyone ever would want Still, her thorns protect her from evil But her beauty encourages all those who love To follow the way of their heart
